原盤畫質很差。原生分辨率是骨頭社祖傳的 720p。主要瑕疵就是欠碼，極度欠碼。線條周圍有明顯蚊噪，平面有極寬極重的色帶。線條還很糊，伴有較重的鋸齒和輕微的振鈴，噪點則聊勝於無，由於色帶太重，噪點層中甚至都有殘留的色帶。我們參考了美版 BD，色帶情況略好一些，但有較重的振鈴問題（推測是美版在灌錄前進行了沒必要的拉升），同樣不好處理，所以最後我們還是使用日版 BD 進行了製作。如此嚴重的色帶問題，無非就是大力去色帶或者直接加噪點掩蓋，出於碼率控制考量，我們選擇了前者。在算法選擇上，我們使用了針對巨大色帶的新式算法，盡量減少了紋理損失。至於其他欠碼問題則採用了基於神經網絡算法的自適應去色塊處理。由於線條質量也欠佳，我們在逆向拉升重構時選用了更費算力但相對優質的還原拉升算法。其他就是常規處理了：抗鋸齒、補償性銳化、自適應降噪。
