偶像大师原盘画质在当年算较好的一类，不过在今天看来就比较一般了，主要问题是线条有着明显低分辨率拉伸带来的锯齿和晕轮。原盘原生分辨率为 720p，我们采用逆向拉伸重构来处理线条，然后配合适度的抗锯齿和去晕轮，在保留锐度的情况下很好地去除了锯齿和晕轮。原盘只有极个别场景有色带，我们采用温和的手段去除。原盘有一层厚重的噪点，我们在保证画风的前提下，进行适度的自适应降噪以控制码率。
